What is particular

Alarms you switch on

On the undercounter freezers, the door ajar and high temperature alarms are turned on together from the keypad. Once on, the freezer alarm sounds after an hour at or above 20°F.

Outdoor-rated undercounter units

True rates all its undercounter models for outdoor use and says its freezers reach temperatures as low as −4°F. Sun, heat and a dirty condenser coil are the first things we check outdoors.

Showroom mode stops everything

In showroom mode True freezers neither cool nor defrost, while the lights, door alarm and display keep working. A warm freezer that looks normal is checked for this mode first.

Fans, controls, hinges and ice maker parts are specific to the column width and the undercounter model. True sells maintenance items such as condenser cleaning supplies through its own store.

Repair or replace
