Gated communities

An estate behind a gate may run a freezer column in the kitchen, freezer drawers at the bar and a chest freezer in a service room, and the staff who check them before an event are usually the first to report one running warm.

Newer developments

Builder garages in planned neighborhoods often put the freezer on an outlet shared with the garage door opener and a second cold-storage unit, and a freezer that stops whenever the door runs points to that shared circuit before the freezer itself.

Patios and outdoor kitchens

An undercounter freezer in an outdoor kitchen needs an outdoor rating, since sun on its cabinet and warm night air ask far more of it than a kitchen does, and an indoor model placed outside tends to run nonstop and lose its gasket within a season or two.
