What Hunters Creek Village does
to a freezer.

Most of the city lies north of Buffalo Bayou, and homes south of the bayou are zoned to the Houston Independent School District.

The general-law city is governed by a mayor and five council members serving staggered two-year terms.

When Harvey's reservoir releases raised Buffalo Bayou in 2017, low-lying neighborhoods in the Memorial Villages were among those flooded.

All of Houston

Gated communities

An estate behind a gate may run a freezer column in the kitchen, freezer drawers at the bar and a chest freezer in a service room, and the staff who check them before an event are usually the first to report one running warm.

Built-in columns and drawers

Freezer drawers under a stone counter in a designed kitchen carry a custom panel on each drawer front, and when a drawer stops sealing the cause is often that panel's weight on the slides rather than the gasket alone.

Family houses

In a busy household packages get stacked against the back wall of the upright, which blocks the fan's air path, so the top shelf warms while the bottom stays hard, a pattern that points to airflow before it points to a part.
