Can I clear Flashing temperature display myself?
Press Alarm Reset to stop the flashing. If it comes back, it needs a visit.

How long will a GE upright keep food frozen without power?
GE's manual says about 24 hours with the door kept shut. After that, it suggests adding dry ice or moving the food to a frozen food locker.
The display on my GE upright keeps flashing every few days. Why?
Something is interrupting the power: a loose plug, a GFCI outlet that trips, or a shared circuit. Repeated flashing with no outage you know of is worth a visit.
