VACATION on a Vario freezer column display means holiday mode. The appliance switches to energy saving operation, turns off its illumination and ends fast freezing if it was running, until the Holiday button is pressed again.

Book a visit only if the column does not return to its set temperature once the mode is off.

The freezer is holding its temperature again and no part had to be replaced. If the same code comes back within a few days, or the packages start to soften again, book it as a fresh problem.

VACATION shown steadily is holiday mode. A flashing VACATION together with RESTMODE is Rest mode, which also silences sounds and locks the buttons.
