What Alarm
actually means.

When a Vario freezer column gets too warm, the set temperature flashes and Alarm appears. Pressing the alarm button shows the warmest temperature reached for five seconds, which helps you judge the food. Gaggenau notes it can also come on harmlessly at start-up, after loading a lot of fresh food or after a long door opening.
