What HIGH TEMP
actually means.
On Electrolux all-freezer columns the red HIGH TEMP light and alarm mean the cabinet has warmed past a safe temperature. A door left ajar, a long outage or a large warm load can set it off, and so can a failing fan, defrost system or compressor. Pressing HIGH TEMP resets the alarm, but it returns if the column is still warm.
