On Thermador's under-counter refrigerator-freezer drawers, the display shows SAB for a few seconds when Sabbath mode begins, and the Sabbath light stays on. While it is active, all audible and visual alarms are inactive, including the drawer-open alarm. Holding Sabbath for three seconds ends the mode.

The freezer is holding its temperature again and no part had to be replaced. If the same code comes back within a few days, or the packages start to soften again, book it as a fresh problem.
What not to do
SAB does not indicate a problem and the drawers keep cooling. Because alarms are silenced in this mode, a warm freezer drawer will not warn you, so check it by hand if food seems soft.
