Miele freezers have a Demo mode for showrooms that runs the controls and interior lighting without switching on the cooling system. A Demo mode symbol shows on the display while it is active. After it is switched off in the settings, the appliance shuts down and has to be switched on again.

Switch Demo mode off in the settings, as described in your manual.
Switch the freezer back on, since it shuts down after Demo mode is turned off.
Remove food that warmed and book a visit if the freezer does not cool afterwards.

The freezer is holding its temperature again and no part had to be replaced. If the same code comes back within a few days, or the packages start to soften again, book it as a fresh problem.

Demo mode is a setting, not a broken compressor or board. If no Demo symbol shows and the freezer is warm with lights on, the cooling system needs a technician.
