Close the door and check that the ice drawer and baskets are pushed fully home. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### My Thermador freezer column opens itself and then the door alarm sounds. Why? With Push-to-open, the door opens a crack and the column checks each second whether it is still ajar before closing it again. If it does not close, the door alarm follows; the opening settings or the door opener need checking. ### Can I turn off the door alarm on my Thermador column? You can mute each alarm by acknowledging the message. The alarm exists to protect the food, so the better fix is finding why the door stays open. ### Does Sabbath mode change how the Thermador door behaves? Yes. Sabbath mode switches off automatic door opening, and messages on the display are turned off. Open the door by reaching under the bottom panel. --- **[Read on the site: Thermador freezer column door alarm: the door has stayed open](https://freezerrepair.center/error-codes/thermador-door-alarm/)** **[Book a visit with FreezerRepair.center](https://freezerrepair.center/schedule/)**
