P1F is Perlick’s zone 1 probe code. Without that probe the control cannot measure the freezer compartment reliably. Perlick asks you to acknowledge the code and book service if it comes back within a week. Perlick freezer display What to do when P1F shows on the freezer ### Kind of code Temperature sensors The control lost its reading of how cold the cabinet, the coil or the air around the freezer is, because a thermistor reports nonsense or its wire came loose. Without that number the control either runs the compressor without stopping or lets the cabinet drift warm. Acknowledge the code on the display. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### What does acknowledging P1F on a Perlick do? It clears the alert from the screen. It does not fix the probe, which is why Perlick wants service if the code returns within a week. ### Can a Perlick freezer keep running with P1F? It may, but temperature control becomes unreliable. Check the food with a thermometer until the probe is replaced. ### Is P2F the same as P1F on Perlick?
