Liebherr’s DemoMode is meant for presenting an appliance at shows or in salesrooms. On Monolith columns, turning it on switches the cooling circuit off, so a freezer left in this mode will warm up even though the display looks normal. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 If food is inside and the freezer feels warm, move it to another freezer or a cooler with ice right away. 02 Turn DemoMode off through the settings menu; on Monolith, Liebherr has you enter code 151 to deactivate it. 03 Check after a few hours that the temperature is falling, and book a visit if it does not. ### Cleared? The freezer is holding its temperature again and no part had to be replaced. If the same code comes back within a few days, or the packages start to soften again, book it as a fresh problem. ### What not to do DemoMode is not a broken compressor, even though the result, a warm freezer, looks the same.
