SKS, the Signature Kitchen Suite brand made by LG Electronics, sells integrated column freezers in 18, 24, 30 and 36 inch widths and 24 inch undercounter convertible drawers that can run as freezers. Their displays use short codes such as OF and sb, and the freezers connect to the LG ThinQ app. The SKS lineup ### Builds 2 freezer types Freezer column · Undercounter freezer ### Called out for Standalone Freezer Not Freezing and 5 more problems on SKS ### Repairs we do 10 repairs, on any make Freezer diagnostic visit · Freezer compressor and start relay repair · Freezer sealed system and refrigerant leak repair · Freezer defrost system repair ### Error codes OF · sb · Door alarm 3 SKS codes with a page of their own ## The SKS lineup. Column freezers are SKSCF1801P, SKSCF2401P, SKSCF3001P and SKSCF3611P; the convertible drawers are SKSUD2402P. The model sets the control panel, the button combinations and the parts. ### Drawers that switch to freezer The SKSUD2402P drawers let each zone run as a refrigerator or a freezer, with Freezer among six preset modes. A drawer that seems too warm is sometimes just set to another mode. ### A store mode that shows OF Display Mode keeps the panel lit and disables all cooling; the column shows OF and the drawers OFF. It is the first thing we rule out on a new freezer that stays warm. ### Sabbath mode silences alarms In Sabbath mode the display shows sb, the light and alarms go off, the ice maker stops and the freezer holds 0 °F for up to 96 hours. Door alarms stay silent during that time. ### Room limits for garages and bars SKS says the freezer should not be operated above 110 °F, and it expects the compressor to run more in warm rooms. A column in a hot space that runs constantly may be working as designed. Parts SKS parts come through LG's parts network and are matched to the model and serial number on the label. Most control, fan and sensor parts are available, though sealed-system parts may need to be ordered. Repair or replace An integrated SKS column or drawer is fitted to its cabinetry, so we repair it in almost every case. Replacement is worth discussing only if an older unit needs a sealed-system repair and the owner is changing the kitchen layout. Book your SKS visit ## What we are called out for. It is the store demonstration setting, in which the panel works but the column does not chill. With the door open, hold Freezer and Water Filter Reset until it beeps to go back to normal cooling. ### Can the SKS undercounter drawers be used as a freezer? Yes. Each zone of the SKSUD2402P can be set as a refrigerator or a freezer, with a freezer range of -7 °F to 5 °F. ### Why is my SKS freezer light off with sb on the display? Sabbath mode is on. It turns off the light and alarms and ends by itself after 96 hours. ### Can an SKS freezer column go in a hot garage? SKS says not to operate it above 110 °F. Near that limit it will run longer, and a built-in column also needs the ventilation its installation guide calls for. --- **[Read on the site: SKS Freezer Repair | FreezerRepair.center](https://freezerrepair.center/brands/sks/)** **[Book a visit with FreezerRepair.center](https://freezerrepair.center/schedule/)**
